While no one detergent can remove all types of stains, we recommend the following for pretreating small spots:

• Colored items must be protected by pre-testing the effects of stain removal techniques on a hidden area on the item.
  
• For "on-the go" and "at home" spot/stain issues, place a small amount of liquid Dreft® in a small pretreater bottle or use the Dreft® Portable Pretreater Pen.
  
• Keep a bottle near your changing table, in your diaper bag and by other places to quickly pretreat everyday smaller spots and stains.
